Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a gentle step down from PHP for individuals who do not need the frequency of therapy or structure offered in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). IOP participants learn to improve their communication skills, learn to support peers, learn from others’ experiences, socialize without unhealthy habits, and learn the benefits of structure and discipline. Transportation arrangements may be available and telehealth options are available.

The Difference Between PHP And IOP
Intensive outpatient is different from PHP because it is less structured and less of a time commitment. Intensive outpatient treatment allows patients to transition back into normal life with the support of a therapeutic community and regularly scheduled outpatient treatment which keeps a level of accountability and the opportunity to address difficulties as they arise.
